Law 25 Implementation Plan in 3 Phases

Phase 1. Since September 22, 2022, Law 25 requires organizations to appoint a person as responsible for the protection of personal information and to have incident response provisions in place.

Phase 2. Since September 22, 2023, robust processes must govern the collection and management of personal information, with penalties for failure to meet these obligations.

Phase 3. By September 22, 2024, each organization must be able to provide computerized personal information upon request from the individual concerned.
